Clear beats clever.

I've spent over 17 years across broadcast, print, and digital, at the CBS Evening News, i24NEWS, PBS NewsHour, The New York Times Magazine, and with Emmy Award-winning work for CNN. Anchoring live global news, interviewing newsmakers and decision makers, reporting from conflict zones, and leading editorial teams. Doing live television news well is like conducting an orchestra: multiple moving parts that have to work seamlessly together, and no second tries.
Along the way I learned something that shapes much of what I do now: nobody remembers the person who said the most, with the fanciest words. They remember the person who was clear and delivered it well.
These days my work runs on three tracks: I still report; I host and moderate live events, from intimate investor circles to international summits. And I work with founders, executives, and organizations on their communication — building original content, preparing them for the media and the stage, bringing what I know from the other side of the interview.
I also host Life, Deconstructed, a podcast of honest conversations with women leaders about how they got to where they are, and what they learned along the way.
